With its new, state of the art terminal building, St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport Operating Company (PJIAE) NV is taking travel and tourism in the North Eastern Caribbean to new heights.
The four-level facility has the passenger in mind. Fully air-conditioned, with a spacious check-in area that has 46 check-in positions, 10 immigration- and passport control points, a spacious, comfortable departure lounge, and an exciting 2,815m2 airport mall, the new building is meant to deliver the first and lasting good impression to every visitor that steps off an aircraft in St. Maarten.
By executing this project, PJIAE has ensured continued compliance with increasing international safety and security standards, to meet future traffic demand and to improve the level of service at the airport.
PJIAE’s new headquarters represent a well-executed plan to secure a fruitful future.
St. Maarten’s new symbol of progress anchors our airport’s role as a regional leader and stand proudly as our island’s Statement of Accomplishment.
